My wife was all into the new Camaro, until I told her that I was ordering the manual six speed. She was helping with the colors and everything and when I told her she clammed up, and walked away! This is my car, and I am making the final decisons about it, but was dissappointed that she was so upset about it. Okay, before you think I am mean spirited and imposng my will on her, let me tell you what she drives. She drives a 2001 Corvette convertible, with auto trans. When we got it I asked her to go manual trans. on the 'Vette, but she wanted auto, so being that it was her ride, I didn't make a fuss over it. She knows how to drive a stick too, but doesn't want to, so, its cool, her 'Vette is auto. She has only 13K miles on that sucker! I like driving the 'Vette, but everytime I do drive it, I wish it were a manual tranny. It's been a few months now since I made the decision to go manual, and she is okay with it now. She shows some enthusiasm for the Camaro again, and yeah, I get the "your on that site again" comment quite often too. I guess I talk about it too much, but no apologies here. This will be my 3rd Camaro, but first since the mid 1970's! My order was pulled on thursday the 12th, so I am jazzed and ready to go. 2SS/RS ABM with gray interior, sun roof, and polished alum wheels. Will add stripes, CAI, and catback after I get it home. I daydream about my camaro until it comes now
