I'm glad that Vararam stepped up in this thread but I really at this point have no interest in obtaining another Vararam intake and just want a refund. I also 100% agree with you. You buy from a retailer so the retailer should handle the return and deal with the MFG themselves. It's not like $400 grows on tree's these days
