My Vararam came with no issues. Had it installed in about 30 min. Long bolts didnt work fo me either,but I think they are ugly anyway and came up with my own solution/design with some hardware in my garage. Someone with your mechanical skill/background will prob appreciate the overall design and look of CAI.Both intakes seem to have loyal followers. Ive had other intakes and Vararam....u can feel it workin!!!!!!
