The reason that I asked the question is not because I had any doubt that the car has been a success for the buyers - but sometimes this does not work out to be a success for the manufacturer. Having seen the Camaro production run from 1967 - 2002 and to be stopped just shows you that any car is at risk due to circumstances that we may not even be aware of.

Scott - thank you for your answer. I am sure that you cannot come out and say exactly what you want to say but we all know what you mean. It is such an outstanding feeling to know that we can talk to, provide input and get information from the very team that is building these cars. This is unheard of with anything these days and you, your team and GM has taken great strides to bridge a gap that existed - and I think the payoff is being shown when each month the Camaro outsells the Mustang.

As for the MPG ratings requirements for the future - I am sure GM will figure something out. Back in '97 when I bought my C5 corvette and was getting almost 30mpg on the highway I knew that you guys could work magic !!
