Thought this belonged in OT anyway since the thread has the potential to have more noncar stories than car stories.. but I digress.
So, I know that some of us here have a work vehicle that we drive daily for our jobs. The Camaros and Firebirds, Chevelles and GTOs, W66 Cutlasses and WS6 GTAs get garage time.
That said.. what do YOU drive for work as a company/work vehicle?
I keep it GM, 1999 GMC Sierra 3500HD Dump. Faded Red but can be spotted from a mile away. For 51K miles she may seem a baby, but those were and still are a hard 51K.
Namely getting it stuck up to the frame rails in mud at the dump site on the course.
But having a 6.5L Turbo Detroit on tap; give me one reason not to hammer the throttle and hear that turbo whine and squeal like a pig ahead of a cloud of black smoke.
It's the Truck that turned me on to Diesels. Nuff said.
