See if the seller will allow you to arrange for shipping; contact your own carrier of choice, negotiate your own rates and pay the shipper direct.
Be sure to add insurance and the correct dimensions as some carriers charge
'dimensional weight' irrespective of actual weight. Be sure to offer the seller
a little extra for packaging since he has to pay someone to box it up as well as
pay for the packaging materials. Or if the seller is close, go pick it up.
