That is exactly why I bought it, it can do so many things well like tear up Porches on the road course, beat up on old muscle at the strip, and is good for 800hp before you have to look into supporting mods and all for $49k msrp. No other new car can do so much for so little.

I don`t think those GT500 are putting down that much rwhp stock. That puts him at 516rwhp all things being equal.

Regardless, I see no way a bonestock GT-500 ran that time mph wise. Again unless the GT500 he has put down 500rwhp.
Most 2011+ GT500's are putting down 500whp+ they are all over youtube if you search.

Mine made 521whp stock during a dyno day right after another 2011 GT500 made 522whp and a 2011 GT that made 365whp.

The 2011 GT500 is a completely different car then the previous years. Aside from the normal things you hear about it, it has new cams which people are saying are the Ford GT cams which makes sense since its now making peak power at redline. It has dual knock sensors so the computer can adjust the timing accordingly and get the maximum power allowed from the fuel you put in the tank. 40% larger heat exchanger, 3.73's on the PP model like the poster, factory fuel "boost a pump" for steady flow of fuel, and with a race weight of 3,660lbs. There is even more things that can contribute to the 2011's ET improvement.

Like I said before these are similar mph's to what MM&FF get's when they test GT500's at the strip.
