Game on!!
Yo!
You're about to be in for a battle. I took off everything that was able to come off. I have the other style lens though. Once you pull them from the oven be sure to have some towels and some good prying tools handy. The black plastic side with the tabs will melt and deform much more easily than the clear acrylic side. Pull all the tabs outta the way first and then start prying and pulling. It took me a couple of trips to the oven with each lens but i finally got them apart. I managed to deform the black side of mine pretty good and it freaked me out at first then i realized that youd never be able to see it once they were back in the car. A heaping amount of sealer will ensure that the stay sealed. Mine have been in for over a year now and i have had no problems from them. I took it to a local audio shop here and showed them the wires from the halos and told them i wanted it to look like they were installed be GM. All i can say is WOW. At dusk i can roll up beside a Z-r1 and nobody will even notice the vet sitting there. It was worth every bit of the 12 hour struggle to get them in. Lol
Persistency is the key!!
