If I lived in the US; I would have purchased a Corvette GS, Z06 or ZR1 instead of a Camaro depending on the price negotiations. However, being in Canada we not only pay 25-35% more for these vehicles, but then the dealer inflates the price of Corvettes taking anyone interested totally out of the market to purchase those vehicles unless of course you don't care about wasting your money, to spend $110+k on a Grand Sport and well over $150+k on a ZR1.

The last time I visited a GM dealership in 2010 before purchasing the SS, they had a Corvette GS Vert on the floor with a $115k pricetag. Just rediculous and in my opinion a straight rip-off.

US Chevrolet WebSite:
http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette-family/

Canadian Chevrolet WebSite:
http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/vehicles...odels-overview

Grand Sport: US $55k / CDN $75k (+dealer inflation)
Z06: US $74k / CDN $96k (+dealer inflation)
ZR1 US $110k / CDN $129k (+dealer inflation)

To make a long story short; I love my Camaro SS and I've always liked this vehicle ever since I saw it in the very first Transformer movie, however, it would not have been my first choice as a purchase. If Corvette pricing here was the same as in the US I would definately get a Corvette as first choice, and the SS would have been an afterthought.
Corvettes are sick, and there is no words to express what you would have in terms of a Z06 with a centri blower, just plain sick. Go for the Corvette man.
