All,
We brought a 2010 LS3 Camaro in the shop yesterday and we went through a thorough inspection and evaluation of our current Catch Can mounting bracket and aluminum shaft. On the 10mm mounting stud in question, our Camaro had two nuts that sandwiched the grounding strap as pictured below:

Using a 15mm socket, the 10mm (#1) Hex Nut can be removed. (Keep this Nut for use later)
Next, using the same 15mm socket, we removed the Hex threaded stud (#2) show below: (this threaded Hex Stud will be replaced) Shown Below:

We feel the quickest and easiest option is to replace this Hex Stud with a much higher grade 14.9 threaded Stud.

Finally, when installed in the engine block with the grounding wire and hex nut (#1) attached, there will be about 3/4” of thread remaining. See picture:

We feel this is the simplest, most durable solution that would be an easy modification for everyone. We would supply the Higher Strength and Grade Steel threaded stud, free of charge.

As an alternate mounting solution, OPTION B, you could also mount your Catch Can to the belt tensioner using the existing 10mm threaded hex head bolt and our "L" shaped bracket that we have available for $9.90. This set-up is shown below. Your existing hoses will be long enough so the installation should also be very easy.

If you are interested in this mounting option, the "L" shaped bracket can be purchased through this link:

As previously stated, we feel very confident that the first option will is the easiest way to go.

PLEASE SEND ME A PM WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS AND WE'LL GET THE REPLACEMENT SHIPPED.

I really hope this helps.
