Where did I read someone that Synergy green would be a available color?
Am I dreaming this or did I read it somewhere?
Also I realize that synergy green was supposed to be a one off, but why the deletion of Red Jewel Tint Coat? Sales?
and NO BLUE at all??? Come on GM!
I was thinking about buying white and stripping the car myself or having it done by someone else but now with all the work that would have to be done to make it look right and the car starting out at 50k I think ill pass on the custom do it yourself paint option.
I will stick with a factory color from here on out for sure. Sorry to beat a dead horse on the colors folks but this has really got me thinkin at a lot of things.
I learned in the pass not to buy a car with a odd ball interior color cause if 15 years down the road passes ( I have a 1985 z28 convertible with copper interior) that you MIGHT not be able to get replacement interior parts in your color such as with my 85 vert as copper (the original color) is not available even in after market. So to me if I do decide to go with Orange on the ZL1 it will have black interior by default which I think is cool. That would keep my from buying IOM as a interior option for sure. I dont want history to repeat itself with the ZL1. If I can keep a third gen in the family for 26 years and counting id want to do the same with this ZL1 when and if I get it. Would never be sold.
