I have that cam package on my blown KB LS3. No issues with driveability. I was suprised how much the cam made a difference from 2K rpm and up. Thought I'd lose some low end, but not the case. It really rips now. Ted found the timing chain tensioner was broke in half... which probably explained the odd wear pattern on the cam sprocket. Glad I had cam done or who knows what might have happened.
