I agree with Holden. I'd rather they put long term value into the car. Many car reviewers are saying to go with the aftermarket units because of technology changing so fast. The other benefit of OnStar is while you pay for the service, you don't have to mess with updating the maps. Also, I travel alone quite a bit and I can ask the OnStar operator to find something for me while driving. Like Starbucks on my route near I-95 at 5:30 in the morning.
