That's why when I spent $500 on just front separates, I spent about $300 on Dynamat to do the doors, trunk, etc.

I can't really understand buying a high end sports car with a sound system that is on par with a Honda Civic (apologies to the Civic owners I just offended). Might as well put hub caps on it and say, "Well, the car still gets me from Point A to Point B... Now pass me the yams."

I did the same on my 97 Trans Am. I could run low 12s in the 1/4 and it still was as quiet as a Cadillac, getting 25 MPG on the highway, with the T-tops off and the AC on jamming with my Alpine system OK, I half lie. It was quiet until I bought and installed the Vigilante 9" racing torque converter by Precision Industries with a stall just over 3200 RPM (when the ProCharger was hitting around 8# of boost). That's some drone and whining I'll never complain about! At idle you could enjoy the audio just fine.
