Maggie of Whipple?
Almost ready to get serious on modifications to my LS3. I am trying to decide on the Maggie or Whipple (Tuner Kits) only, I'd most likely add in LTs and HF Cats and dyno tune. Target HP is 550 rwhp / tq. It looks to be almost a $1,000.00 more for the Whipple so that is a concern.
What I want to know is given the very hard time it can be to hook up the tires at lower rpms with the LS3 which supercharger would make it easier to get down the track with while not blowing off the tires (best for higher rpms)? I don't envision me ever going to forged internals where I would need more than 600 rwhp in the future.
Which of these superchargers would be easier on the motor, I keep reading about the lower IATs of the whipple?
Is a BAP a must for my target hp levels?
Would anyone happen to know if the New Era OTR Intake will work with either of the above?
