I hear ya' man. The problems with this issue is very frustrating. Last week, while driving home doing a modest 60kms. on the hwy. I think the clutch went, and caused overrevs to my engine, now I need to do engine work.
So, far found a bent valve, not sure if any "major" stuff broken deeper inside. We'll find out next week. But, this was my earlier comment. The clutch issues "can" be dangerous, nothing happened to me or my girl at the time but you never know. Just a bruised ego, and a few more multiple thousands of dollars leaving my pocket.
