i normaly shift just about befor on or after 2,000

also to note if your on 4th and you shift down to 3ed let it go abit to build its power up to 2,000 rpm but ruffly around there

the shift points for me normaly

1est 15

2ed 20

3ed 35 to 40 range

5th 45 to 50

and i shift into sixth soon as i hit 50 mph works good also uphill downshift so you can keep power to climb the hill

if your in 4th and you downshift to third it lags its normal third is the mid point so it will drop about 200 rpm or a bit more then build up thats normal need to compacate for it wont happen all the time but you will learn it
