Now I really like the Challenger...its a VERY nice looking ride, but I mean, coming on a Camaro forum and saying your car is better at this and that??? I guess its gonna happen, but whatever. The mopar is inferior on most accounts (not opinion)...skid pad, 0-60, 1/4 mile, mpg, lane change, braking, road course, etc etc...The Camaro will own these, and based on the shear size of this car, rear seating and truck space will far exceed previous 4th gen's. Chevy aimed at a different kind of buyer with this car, while trying to retain its usual "muscle car" base. This car can corner, but it will still out accelerate most cost comparable cars.

Also, the Mopar aftermarket is light years behind Chevy. All these Vette LS3 aftermarket parts, will already fit, headers will be developed in short order and tuning is already available. I respect your choice to buy your Challenger or Charger or whatever, I used to own a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and they do have some impressive capabilties. But I'm a Chevy guy and the SS was an easy choice.

At least we are all buying American and hopefully getting our Nations economy and auto industry moving in the right direction.
yes that is the advantage you have on the challenger...aftermarket...everything else is subjective...not facts..the camaro is only a couple tenths quicker in the 1/4th than the challenger....that makes it a drivers race on the street...who hits the gas faster...who spins less...lots of things to take into account.

these cars are both quick...and track? I would never track a muscle car..but at least these cars are lightyears better on the skid then its ancestors...even the challenger.
