as for the camaro, it all worked out. the straight 6 is nearly perfectly balanced and can spin to the moon, plus it cranks out an ass load of torque. mixed with the trans I put in the car which had 3 gears.... tow, slow, and go.
I could drive all day in 2nd gear if I wanted. 3rd gear was something past overdrive. I could coast at 70 in 3rd all day long. or drop it down to 1st and pull a truck out of the mud (true story..lol)
