No better summary than that. I'm sure the auto will be a great transmission, but the feeling of being connected with the car is never the same. With a manual, the car feels more like an extension of you. It's far more rewarding and more fun in my humble opinion. But in the end, you should get what you want. Just be prepared for some good-natured ribbing about having an automatic Camaro
