I think both will be great, especially with the tap-shift. I've been back and forth between the two myself, autos are much nicer when it's your daily driver that will get stuck in bad traffic occasionally (especially as I'm likely to move to a bigger city in a couple of years), and I hate stop signs at the top of steep hills with a manual. The fun and control of a manual tranny through twisties, hills (the ones without stop signs), and in just regular driving is just a more satisfying experience IMO. When looked at for a daily driver without considering cost it's still a tough choice, but paying $1k for something I would rather not have many days is seeming more and more like a silly choice, at least for myself.
