Sounds like my local GM dealer's service department. In with one problem, out with two.
I don't really think much can be done about the panel/fascia fit issues. That's fairly common today. Plastic bumpers and metal fenders. Two different materials, two different thermal expansion rates. They'll stick out anytime you park in the sun on a hot day.
