I've been researching the heck out of ways to eliminate or cancel drone.

Theres sound dampering material...which seems to only work somewhat but never help completely unless maybe you use a tone of it along your entire trunk area and under the rear seats. But thats expensive and can add a lot of weight.

Then I've read that adding weights to a certain area of the exhaust pipe itself has helped people before. But I also think this is more for calming down pipe resonance (a high frequency rattle I believe?) and may not necessarily fix our type of drone which is caused by sound frequencies.

Then there are "J pipes". Now I've been aware for a long time how Solo uses the J pipe technology on its cat-back for the V6. I also know that there are very many happy people (V6 and V8) using J pipes to cancel out their drone but keep same exhaust sound. What I didn't know is that SOLO is apparantly also selling these J pipes seperately from their exhaust systems.

I'm not suggesting you buy the J pipes...it is just a thought of mine that I might do in the future if I ever feel the need for it!

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread...Thanks again!
