I'd have to second Moose's reply about Scott being the #1 fan. That was an excellent response. Scott has just about the
coolest job in the world with
"family" all over the United States (heck, the world for that matter). Moose, you are one heck of a fan too. But, you put it very well when you said we are all fans.
Here's why I'm a fan. I've owned 6 Chevy's and no other brand at all.

My last 3 Chevys were Camaros (because I finally had a say in what I drove). I got into Camaros because my old roommate had a 97. I drove it once and was amazed at the raw power it had. I then did a college research project with a subject of my choice. It was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the Camaro. Needless to say it was a win/win situation for me (I learned a lot about someting I enjoyed and got an A on my project).
I am employed full time and it's difficult to not only take off of work, but it's also difficult to find something Camaro related way down here in the south of Texas.

We don't get the big car shows, Camaro reunions, etc.

But, when something does come along, I'm there. The last event was driving 5 hours up to Dallas to see the concept.
On another note, for those who want something bad enough, you'll do what it takes to get it. I flew up to Des Moines, Iowa (it was 18 degrees outside w/ snow and ice everywhere) to pick up my current SS. It was a huge gamble but it paid off royally. I then got to drive back 14 or so hours while having the flu in freezing weather....and it was a blast.
On another occassion, my wife and I were taking a vacation out to LA. I recently bought my first Camaro and wanted to make the trip by car. The wife took a plane the day after I left. I drove the Camaro and met her at the airport in Los Angeles. I love the long drives and that was a perfect way for me to get "lost in my world". I'd do it again in a hearbeat.
I don't claim to be the biggest fan, but I sure as hell love the Camaro. If I could have any other job, it would be working for GM in the design/testing/anything Camaro dept. For now, I'll just be happy being able to drive my 4th Gen as my daily until the 5th Gen comes along. ***I only pray there'll be some way I can keep my current 4th Gen SS and still be able to afford the concept..........
Congrats to all of you here. You are all fans.
