There will be cars at dealers before May. Some will just have the V6 dealer car others will probably have customer cars that start trickling in. However, I am guessing that the owners of most sold cars that arrive will want to pick them up right away.
As far as having them on the floor for last Monday, think about what you are typing. Production started Monday and that was when they had final production parts for cars. Any car made before then may have had pre-production parts. Even though those parts may have been production-intent, they needed time to work out any bugs and get the production line running.
