Almost every "NEW" DD unit out there has Bluetooth, and USB/Ipod built in. I know there are a few "legacy" guys that want to run Pioneer D3's and units like that (I still have a D1 in the Yukon), that dont have either of those. It will be difficult to retain the factory Bluetooth since the audio precessing is done in the factory radio brain, which is removed. If you have a unit without Bluetooth, you are probably going to have to get a setup like an EGO or Parrot.

If you want to get with a basic DD radio they usually have an AUX in, just get an Ipod to RCA cable, plug it into the AUX, and hook it to ACC power, and it will charge the Ipod while its plugged in as well. I have a supplier on those but you can find them almost everywhere online. As far as Bluetooth, you are going to have to either get a unit with it built in, or an external piece. Heck, most of the Fry's 39$ radios have Bluetooth in them nowdays.

I have been looking at some cheap DDin units to temporarily use. Im not interested in Nav, and can live without the DVD player for the time being. They do not have bluetooth or a usb/ipod connection. Would one of these work or will I lose the features with the stock unit?
