Well I don't think the price will be much of a surprise, but even if it is priced comparable to the Mustang, it might still be a stretch for me, because there are the issues of rent in Southern California, student loans, entry-level pay, insurance for a young male, etc. I don't want to get a bare bones version. I intend to keep it for a long time, so I want it to be pretty well equipped. And I also want the V8 version, because it just seems wrong to not have a V8 Camaro. If I have to go cheaper, it will probably be the upcoming Alpha sedan, and in that case it doesn't seem as important to have a V8. So really it isn't the price of the Camaro so much as my personal finances working out. Well that's why I'm waiting a couple years, to make sure I can get the car that I really want and afford it comfortably and responsibly.
