it takes about 1 1/2 hours to install. There are a lot of guys with them in and nobody has had an issue with rain even without the shield. don't take the wheel off, just crank the wheel all the way to the left, and jack up the car. you can access every thing from there. Take an old fork flatten it out and bent up 2 prongs 90 degrees. then you can use a pair of plyers to adjust the width and use that to take out the plastic plugs.
