Oh, man. LBM we've got a problem. I didn't really want to tell Lightning about the latest flirting incident. I know he's really jealous over LadyBug. I kinda wish he'd latch on to one of the local chicks. There's a '67 Camaro with a saucy new flaming orange paint job we've seen a few times. I'm pretty sure she's had a tail-light lift and a headlight job. And she's got the cutest little pinstripe tattoo right above her tailpipes - Lightning won't even glance her way since he met LadyBug. Then there's a slinky 2010 ABM V6 that lives a couple of miles from here. She's been lowered an inch or two and usually comes purring around Lightning at the local car shows. He won't even talk to her. And of course there are all the little foreign chickeetas. He just bumps them aside. And of course, Mustangs he eats for lunch (spits the horseshoes out on the sidewalk).
Well, I finally decided this morning that I'd better go have a talk with Lightning. Cuz I knew he'd find out about it anyway. HE WASN'T IN THE GARAGE! There is a large hole cut in the back of the garage - right thru the brick and mortar. It's so precise I think he has gotten ahold of some kind of laser cutting tool. Now I know what he has been doing while I'm at work. He sneaks out of the parking lot and goes looking for tools and ammo. I don't know what all he has at his disposal. Don't bother putting LadyBug under lock and key - he can cut thru anything. I know he's jealous of those Vipers but I also think his feelings were a little bit hurt. I'm pretty sure I saw a tear forming in his eye, er headlight, when I last talked to him about the LadyBug/Viper situation.
I heard a report on the radio this morning - there was a pile of ashes and metal found on Interstate 15 just south of the Utah-Idaho border. They said they haven't figured out what it is but I'm pretty sure I know. It's the remains of a Viper. I don't know if he'll head straight for LadyBug or detour hunting for Vipers. You should probably warn LadyBug. Lightning is loose, he's off his meds, he's armed, he's dangerous, he's crazy for LadyBug, and he is one fast hombre.
