I finally got to install a cam in my M6 2SS RS after quite a while of research and I went with the Vengeance Racing Stage 3 cam kit (3 bolt cam and gear, Katech timing chain, melling HV oil pump, springs, seats, Ti retainers, pushrods, under drive pulley, and trunion upgrade). I had the car dyno tuned by Jeremy at Fasterproms. I had already installed all of the bolts ons ARH 1 7/8 LT headers with HF cats, Magnaflow Axle back, Vararam cai, Fasterproms ported TB and Intake. This cam is what I think is dam near perfect for this car. It has a real good sound, idles easily, drives easily, and pulls hard throughout the rev range. There was no loss of torque down low at all. After talking with Jeremy for a while he said this cam is very similar to what he likes to spec for the LS3 Corvettes he has done. Now for the numbers or number. The tachometer lead on the dyno (dynojet)was broken that day so my dyno was for hp only, no rpm or torque figures. Rwhp was 465 on the third pull, but after telling Jeremy my intentions of more auto crossing and HPDEs he added a little more fuel and took out some timing and the last pull was 462 rwhp. Granted this isn't the highest HP number but for a little above average cam with great drivability I am very happy. Now that I'm mostly done spending money on upgrades I can spend it on seat time. I gotta thank member Robertway for making one awesome DIY on installing a LS3 cam and JHMURPHY for a huge hand with the install. Thanks fellas
Here's a little video of my car now. Thanks for watching.
