I'm a detailing junkie and two of my prior cars were black. Black with no metal flake like to "fade" into a brownish black. Its just the paint being normal. I'd suggest if you'd like to go crazy....Wash it. Clay bar it. If you want to remove defects get a good cutting compound and it'll remove the swirls and etc for the most part. Here is the important part. A GOOD polish this will bring the depth back to the black and then you use a good sealant (ie wax). If youre using a more expensive wax you will get the streaking cause the wax "sweats" due to the humidtity and carnuba content....Anyway if you need some recommendations PM me.
