your dealer is currently losing a notch and if you havent completed the enrollment within 30 days, it is a notch on their permanent records. Also, your onstar system has some things it would like to ask you, like...how they can email you monthly diagnostics...and what color your car is for stolen vehicle tracking purposes. Please press the button.

No doubt. I'm currently in a pissing contest with my dealer on a damaged tire. Found a gouge with a cut on my rear Pirelli the second night I had the car. Called the SM the next day and got "this is a sales issue, but bring it in." After I get to the dealer, SM tells me to take it up with my sales guy. So I just went and found the sales manager and complained to him. Got no where, but I keep getting calls from my sales guy asking how's it going and did I get my GM survey yet. Wants me to come in so we can go over the survey and make sure I give them 100% satisfaction rating. Yesterday I told him if the dealership doesn't take care of this tire issue, you won't be getting an "A" on your report card. I even offered to split the cost of the tire with the pricks. I know that I didn't cause the damage because the tire dressing the dealer put on the car was covering the damaged part. I pointed this out to just about everyone but they won't budge.
So yeah, the dealers will bug you to death if it's their benefit for a good rating or a kickback from things like on-star.
