Maybe that's because the least expensive Corvette you can buy with a V8 costs $18,000 more than the Camaro SS, and you only get 4 extra HP with the Corvette.
Base Model Corvette = 430hp
Camaro SS = 426hp
Best buy? Camaro! Hands down.
