The problem a lot, not all, but a lot of Vette owners have is the stereo typical comment that a Camaro is a poor man's Corvette. It has to do a lot with the fact that you aren't in the same "money spending" category as they are. Those are the same types of owners who are using the Vette as a status symbol.

But the problem they have now, is as it has already been mentioned is the overhaul and reintroduction the Camaro got. The Vette will always be the Vette but when the Camaro stopped being made in 2002 and then all of a sudden this sick looking, beast of a machine comes out in the popular Transformers movies, and BAM, the Camaro is getting the recognition the Vette was supposed to be getting.
