That might help a little bit, but whats causing this is the the plasti-dip drying to the tape. When this happens and you go to peel the tape back the edges of the plasti-dip will come up with the tape. Its best to spray the interior design then beef up the edges real quick the quick peel the tape back before the plasti-dip dries to it. Alcohol, like with most other things, will surely help
