I am hearing a ticking noise (pretty sure it's normal) on my LS3, not sure if I'm paranoid because my oil pump just failed and any little noise scares the hell out of me now...just want to make sure.
I installed JRE's 445 cam package which include Comp Cams dual valve springs and the trunion upgrade quite some time ago (amazing upgrade) and for some reason I'm thinking the ticking got worse...
Please watch video of both the engine and I also recorded a clip of underneath the car near the cats (ARH long tubes with high flow cats) where the tick is most noticeable.
Just want to make sure nothing is wrong.
