When I purchased my dogs, each breeder included in the contract stipulations about how the dog was to be raised, including training (and because my Shepherd isn't show quality, neutering). The breeder reserved the right to take the dog back if I didn't follow the contract. I bought from responsible breeders, and I have great dogs. Too bad all breeders aren't like that.
