The problem is its a dangerous dog. The jaw power and the mental stigmatics that wont let them stop once they start.
Dogs are how you train them to be although some are more predisposition-ed to being more of a wild dog because they are only one step from it....
The issue with Pits are the people who own them and the breeders who over breed them and inbreeding.
Pits are massive money makers for breeders and gang bangers and insecure people love them as weapons... so you have what we have.... an unstable breed brought on by over-breeding and insecure owners.. The dog can be very sweet and to be honest I think German Shepard's attack more people but its isn't usually fatal where a pit-bull will go until the object is dead...
another ... dogs in a pack behave different... two pits are more dangerous to have than just one... dogs have a hierarchy and its determined by force..
So of course people don't have just one dog that can kill them they have 2 or 3...
Jessie from the TV show who's daughter was mauled to death had 3 or 4 of them running around in his yard when they attacked and killed his daughter...
Its unfortunate that the breed takes the blame but we have laws to protect people from themselves for a reason.. I agree with most of the bans.. Its unfortunate but it is what it is.
