:( So I finally understand that the order date only got me a place in the number of pre-order allocations my dealer has. I figured that out last week! (I wish I would have known that about 7 months ago!

) I was one of the naive ones who thought that the earlier I ordered the faster the car would be built. Seems logical that as orders come in they are built. Shipping would have some coordinating to do though.
I also understand that the bigger dealers in bigger markets are getting more cars (but don't agree, however,) and I understand that the V6 was constrained for a while but now it is no longer constrained.
HOWEVER, I need further enlightenment:
1. Why are those big dealers getting so many built immediately? Couldn't they build a few cars everyday for the small guys?

2. How come it takes 3 weeks from the order going in to production?

3. When will production ramp up?
4. When will cars start getting shipped sooner than 3 weeks after production?
5. AND finally, in case you missed it, I want my car and I want it now!
