garfin, just like the officer told you, he found that you already had been written a citation earlier. Personally, I woulnd't push it either. I tell ya, when I was younger, I got stopped all the time for speeding. No one ever wrote me tickets. I was amazed. But, I finally got one. I got cut a few brakes after that, but eventually got another ticket for speeding. Then, got another...and another. But, I found I wasn't getting any more warnings. Hmmmm.... 14 speeding tickets later...and a lot of money out of pocket, I finally calmed down. My point is...if you already got two tickets, there won't be a question as to whether or not the next officer will write you one. They will just do it out of principle. A history of driving infractions actually does play a role in writing tickets for officers.
