However, the number of people that would actually pay for a $2,000 NAV radio is very small. The number buying $900 sunroof is very high. There is substantial tooling and development costs involved in nearly every option. Traditionally there are very few people in this segment that pay (depending on your sticker) 5 to 10% more for NAV Radio. Plus with the huge popularity in Garmin, Tom Tom etc. the sales volume for built in NAV is even lower, expecailly in this segment. OnStar turn by turn is actually better in every way except you don't see the map.
