I was under the hood for 20 minutes at the auto show, and even the LS3 has an amazing mount of access room. I was shocked. You can get to all the spark plugs easily, changing the serpentine belt will be a piece of cake, and if you ever need to change the water pump or an accessory like the alternator or A/C compressor, that will be an easy reach as well - lots of room between the radiator and front of the engine.


Ask anyone with a 4th gen F-bod what they think about engine bay access.


When I saw the car there was a lot more room than I thought. I saw the V6 only but there was still a lot of room for swapping in headers for example and spark plugs like fastball said. That engine cover is growing on me, I might just leave it on IDK.
