I am still waiting for the dealership to call me back and schedule an appt to have it fixed (they don't know whats causing this problem). Does anyone have these chips around their spoiler? Mine are located at each end of the spoiler on the deck lid, clearly not in a place that could have been hit by a rock or something else.

I have had my 2011 for about 3 months, 2300 miles. After 2 months, I noticed the paint chipping/peeling on the rear fascia. The chips are on the top of the rear fascia, directly under the trunk lip. There were 2 of them on the fascia, one each directly below each end of the trunk lip. This is very similar to the chips that others have reported under the rear spoiler. I checked, and the trunk lip is not rubbing the fascia, nor do I remember rubbing against or hitting those areas in any way. There is no way a pebble could have gotten between the trunk lip and the top of the fascia. I can only surmise that the paint actually chipped or peeled on its own. Sorry no picture, but I've already hit these 2 areas with touch-up paint. The only good thing is that the lip of the trunk does partially hide the paint chip.
I'll be keeping my eye out for any new chipping or peeling.
I'm a bit disappointed about this. When you spend $30K for a car, you don't expect the paint to start chipping off!
