I'm 28, single, and enjoying it. The main reason why I choose the single life now is because of my career commitment as active duty military. Due to the uncertainty of military life, it is logistically easier to be single. I just have to worry about myself when I go on 6+ month deployments or 1 year long oversea tours. Sometimes I feel like I'm behind the curve in life since some of my good friends have already married. My younger sister even seems like she's on her way to a lifelong commitment now. I see myself settling down with a woman eventually but it probably won't happen in the near future......unless I find "the one" soon.
