Acid rain wouldn't affect you so quickly, unless it was literally acid. Acid rain will certainly create paint problems - but over the course of years.

Have you been near any volcanic activity lately? I'm not being sarcastic - that'll cause some seriously nasty rains... kill your entire garden type of rain lol.

More likely - its a cloudiness under the clear caused by poor adherence, too soon between coats, or leeching of some chemical during the curing process. For what its worth, i have a few spots here and there, but not big enough to bother me or be noticeable to anyone unless they really go over the car with a fine toothed comb. I've been less than impressed with the paint quality, in general...
