I know its not rail dust. You can get that stuff off with a clay bar. Infact, i use to be a wash boy in high school and my manager made me clean a F350 with a claybar to get rid of all the rail dust. that day sucked.

I have my doubts that the cooling towers are acid rain since we have living plants all over the place and my DD doesn't have any of these spots. Maybe I will see if I can post some pics on here, but it is really hard to see unless I pull it out of the garage and I don't feel like doing that today.
