This reminds me of all the threads saying "I don't need winter tires."
It's great that nothing happened to you, but if something does, it's already too late.
All these 'nannies' do is give you a bigger window to correct a dangerous situation. If you find the fun you gain with having them off more beneficial than the safety benefits of the systems, then rock on.
One serious question: IF an accident was to happen, and they checked your black box and saw all the nannies were off, are there insurance ramifications?
