You know what no one seems to mention is just two years ago when the big10 got there network Texas stepped in and asked a&m , Tech and Baylor if they wanted to all get together and make a Lonestar Network all TEXAS universities with there own network showing all TEXAS school programs.
Tech said they were interested and Baylor was all for it ( of course $$$$$ )
a&m said NO why? No one ever said I guess they cant put a freaking rivalry to the side and be civil for one thing. Everything from there fight song to calling us TU to taking it in the everyday life as most every former aggies makes a big deal you went to TU blah blah blah get over it. Geeze

So since everyone basically from there said No


Texas Came up with the idea LHN


Now a&m is really the only ones who hates it are saying we want to leave Texas is going to make more money........but if you ask a&m why they are leaving they wont say the LHN they say more $$$$$$$$$$$ in the SEC. Intersting 10 big12 schools just signed a contract worth 1.5 billion sounds like a lot of money if you ask me. Money isn't the issue this time, aTm's insecurities are they hate there step bro across the road is making money on something where they are not.


You want more $$$$$$ then market yourself like UT does.
a&m is a school of law and engineering UT is very big in business.

OU knows whats happening in 2 year a&m will be gone so OU is like what the hell lets go.


The longhorn network shows So far two Football games this year and to be honest thats all i see happening.

Rice and Kansas
total of 6 basketball games
All track and field
and old games from the past.

its almost a Tv program showing ESPN great highlights from the past.


The rumor was we would show TEXAS HS GAMES. That was a rumor you cant because its a State of TEXAS UIL rule no HS game can be on TV unless its playoffs So how is this making money off of any other university ??????? or a recruiting advantage.

we have more messageboards , clothing line is again #3 in the nation at selling for the 9th straight year behind ND and UNC.



If people have a big deal with the LHN in a way I wish we would close it down but geeze to say we are tearing something apart which seems to be nothing but a history highlight program thats stupid.
