Is the car a lot stiffer with the new lowering springs?

Yes, it is stiffer, but just right. It's not impossible to drive over bumps, etc. You just notice them more. I really like everything about the driveability of the 3.45 gears, sways, and springs. It's just all the better a driver's car.
I re-look at the logs from the other night, and I had one log that included several minutes idling in the staging lanes. The IATs steadily climbed to 140* even though the engine was already warm.
So, it's heat soak of the IAT sensor. That 140* resulted in a few degrees of timing retard, which explains the launch. The mid-run KR is from full timing at peak torque. So I'll be adjusting the peak torque timing and I have reason to hope the whole pass will be a lot better.
We'll also be relocating the IAT sensor to the filter (down near the foglight).
Basically, it was running 12.40 @ 111 with 4* retard and a weak launch.

Not THAT bad.
