The dealer has every say as to which "sold order" gets pulled first. Let's assume that they have 5 sold orders and there are no constraints on any of those orders. GM tells them that they have one order that can be filled. It is up to the dealer to decide which of those 5 orders gets submitted. Now if there are constraints, that changes the game.

Again, it is up to the dealer to decide in what order their particular orders get placed (again assuming no constraints on orders). How produced cars are distributed across the US is another topic all together. However, it is not necessarily done in the order in which they were placed. Some people who ordered on October 13th may actually get their cars after people who ordered after them.

I hope this helps.

So at this point do we know if they are correct in saying that if the one order being pulled "could be" a sold order? #2) Are they accurate in saying it will be on the lot on or before May 6th?
